This workshop is part of the PAGEONE Group Center for Excellence—a dedicated training and development arm that consolidates all learning initiatives. It reflects the agency’s commitment to empowering its team through programs rooted in industry insights, designed to foster growth and uphold PAGEONE’s leadership in the PR industry.

Tom Forte, Senior Data Privacy, Security, and Technology Supervisor under Alibata Pacific Holdings, Inc., participated in a Data Privacy Training and Certification program, earning the title of Data Protection Officer.

Reflecting on the workshop, Forte shared:

“The course covered everything from the basics of data privacy to detailed processes for staying compliant and managing risks. It was a solid foundation for understanding the framework of data privacy laws.”

Forte emphasized the importance of cultivating a privacy-centric mindset, noting how the program underscored the value of building trust and resilience in handling personal data. “It’s not just about following the law but understanding our role in safeguarding information responsibly,” he added.

Social Media Marketer Khirby Serrano, Communications Officer in Social Media at PAGEONE Media and Communications Inc., took a Social Media Program. The program, spread over three Saturdays, featured interactive sessions on strategic planning, content creation, influencer marketing, and crisis management.

“The tasks were challenging but invigorating, pushing us to perform at our best,” Serrano said. “I gained valuable insights into industry jargon, effective crisis response strategies, and innovative approaches to social media marketing,” he added.

The hands-on activities allowed Serrano to refine his skills in content creation, query management, and digital planning. His enhanced confidence and expertise are now evident in the seamless execution of his responsibilities, including managing multiple Facebook pages.

Julianne Borje, Communications Officer in Content Strategy at PAGEONE Media, and Genievi Sebastian, Digital PR and Marketing Officer at Brown Bag Communications, Phils., Inc., participated in a Search Engine Optimization Program. Both described the training as highly interactive and informative, providing a deeper understanding of SEO fundamentals and practical strategies.

“The program demystified how SEO works, breaking down intricate processes into actionable insights. It even introduced practical shortcuts that make optimizing content faster and more efficient,” Borje noted.

Sebastian echoed the sentiment, highlighting the value of SEO in amplifying content visibility and driving meaningful engagement.

These workshops are part of PAGEONE Group’s continuous effort to invest in its people. By equipping employees with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, the company ensures that its team remains competitive and innovative in delivering impactful campaigns.
