De La Salle University-Dasmariñas’ College of Liberal Arts and Communication recently partnered with PAGEONE Group, the Philippines’ leading media and PR agency, to conduct an educational media tour designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice. The collaboration provided students an exclusive glimpse into the dynamic world of public relations and communication, emphasizing PAGEONE’s innovative and research-driven.

PAGEONE Group’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Ron Jabal, APR, led an engaging discussion on the foundations and evolving practices within PR, sharing valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience in the media industry.

Dr. Jabal emphasized the importance of writing in the field of communication, encouraging students to embrace writing as a continuous learning process. “You keep on writing—you don’t edit right away,” he advised, underscoring the iterative nature of skill development in communication. He also highlighted the essential role of reputation in public relations and PAGEONE Group’s guiding principle, stating, “Reputation is our license to operate. People will patronize you if you have a fantastic reputation.”
